Submitted ≠ graduated. Graduation is what triggers the $40 and the draw entry. The draw is a bonus, not the point.

Guidance

What we can actually use

Usually approved

Clear footage, movement, recognizable activity, real people, Alaska setting/lifestyle, before/after progress.

Activities

Hiking, running, skiing, hunting, fishing, climbing, gym, races/events, outdoor rec, progress journeys, recovery/wellness.

Usually not

Blurry, a single foot on a trail, random pet clips, stock-style, generic scenery with no story, anything unrelated to health/performance/Alaska.

Quality note: Production quality is not required. White wall, indoors, garage, vehicle, home, self-facing — all fine. You need a human, not a drone shot.

About 40 seconds

Story 40

Most accepted Story 40 submissions come from about 5–15 minutes of casual recording. We only need ~40 seconds of usable footage. Don't worry about perfection — record naturally and give us options.

The best submissions usually aren't produced. They're real. Turn the camera around and tell us what's happening.

Then keep moving. Walk. Hike. Train. Fish. Ski. Natural footage plus a real story is usually all we need.
